Energy group cries foul in HECO solar selection process

A renewable energy development group, which includes companies from the Virgin Islands, Britain and Oregon, wants Hawaii regulators to rule that Hawaiian Electric Co. was "erroneous and improper" during the utility's process to push through large solar photovoltaic projects that could be up and running quickly to provide power on Oahu at a lower cost.
