It may surprise you but the Yukon uses more green energy than the other two territories and some of the provinces. According to Statistics Canada, wind and hydro generation made up almost 95 percent of electricity use in 2013, with thermal electricity - electricity produced by generators run on petroleum products such as diesel - making up the rest.
