MINDANAO cannot rely solely on renewable energy alone since most renewable energy sources are not very reliable in terms of capacity factors, an official said. Romeo Montenegro, investment relations and public affairs director of the Mindanao Development Authority , during a press conference at the Grand Men Seng Hotel yesterday, said it is important that Mindanao has an energy mix balance to ensure reliable power.
